Balkan Quandary: Bosnian Brotherhood

HE BOSNIAN CONFLICT HAS generated powerful emotions outside the Balkans. In the Muslim world, feelings have run high over the prospect that Europe’s most visible indigenous Muslim community will perish in the conflict. In international assemblies such as the United Nations and the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Muslim countries have intervened on behalf of the Bosnian government.
