PRAGUE-The health-care crisis in the Czech Republic boiled over in November, when a group of hospital doctors launched an "administrative strike" marked by a mass protest on 1 November. More than 1,000 doctors and health-care workers from across the country, many of them dressed in medical garb, demonstrated in front of the Health Ministry, waving signs with slogans that denounced their low pay and other endemic problems.
